The photos from this series show the moments we got used to seeing during the pandemic: masks, social distancing, elbow bumps, and other things that you’ll agree are atypical for weddings. While they are coronavirus-themed, they are a part of larger collections that you’ll find on the website.
The Awards at This is Reportage regularly see over 12,000 submissions, Alan writes. These 25 images are just the top few percent that has been awarded by the judges over the past few months during the pandemic. I’m not much of a fan of staged wedding photos, I prefer documentary ones. And oh boy did I enjoy these! They are unusual just like this year has been, but unlike 2020, they made me feel optimistic.
