Nikon Sweetens The Deal With Free Ftz F Mount Adapters With Z6 Z7 Camera Purchase In The Usa

Originally reported as just a weekend sale, it appears this deal might actually be a little more long term. Nikon previously bundled the FTZ F Mount to Z Mount adapter with their Z6 and Z7 mirrorless cameras as a promotional bundle offering $100 discount as a package. Now the FTZ adapter is included with the purchase of either camera completely free.

The FTZ adapter, normally a $246.95 separate purchase, gives Nikon’s Z6 and Z7 mirrorless cameras access to over 360 F Mount lenses and teleconverters while retaining the original lens functionality. Over 90 Nikon Nikkor lenses are also guaranteed to offer full compatibility with Nikon Z mirrorless features such as Hybrid AF and 3-axis in-camera Vibration Reduction (VR – their version of IBIS).

Whether the deal will actually remain permanently is unknown, but no retailers seem to be listing an expiry date. [via Nikon Rumors]
