Meike has announced various affordable lenses so far. Two years after launching the 85mm f/1.8 lens for Canon, the company has now announced the Nikon F version of this affordable autofocus lens.
The Meike 85mm f/1.8 is designed for full-frame Nikon DSLRs. Of course, you can also use it on crop bodies where it will provide 127.5mm equivalent focal length. While Meike lenses are mainly manual focus, this one is an autofocus lens, just like its Canon EF counterpart. On the other hand, the Meike 85mm f/1.8 for Sony is a manual focus lens, yet it’s priced the same as the new Nikon EF version.
