Some photographers will go great lengths to get the perfect shot. But it seems that Instagram influencers and “influencers” will go even further. Now there’s an Instagram account that shows behind the scenes of “doing it for the ‘Gram”, and it’s absolutely hilarious.
Even the name of this account makes me giggle: @influencersinthewild. It was created by Tank Sinatra, who, oh the irony, seems to be an influencer himself. His account has amassed over 2 million followers, and Influencers in the Wild are followed by almost as many people. But Tank Sinatra himself claims that “we’re all influencers, whether we like it or not.”
Perhaps you find the concept of this page familiar. I know I did, because it reminded me of Boyfriends of Instagram, another hilarious account that shows behind the scenes of typical Instagram photos. However, Boyfriends of Instagram focuses mainly on couples and their Insta-shenanigans. Influencers in the Wild covers a wider group of people and all sorts of silly, stupid, and sometimes downright dangerous behavior behind those “perfect” Instagram shots. If you ever happen to spot and film influencers in the wild doing their thing, you can submit your video here. In the meantime, here are some of the videos shared so far.

If you’ve ever wondered how on Earth people get killed while getting an Instagram photo… Well, maybe this is how. Please don’t do this!
