After 99U Creative Conference, Adobe has announced that its annual Adobe MAX conference will also become a free, online-only event. The reason is the same as it was for all previous changes and cancellations: the coronavirus pandemic.
Adobe MAX was originally meant to take place in Los Angeles, California in late October. However, Adobe decided not to risk it and they moved the whole thing online. While it’s normally a paid event, priced at over $1,000, this year’s conference will be free for everyone to attend. “The health and safety of Adobe customers, partners, and employees is and always has been our top priority,” Adobe writes. “To that end, we’ve made the difficult decision to cancel the in-person MAX event and make MAX 2020 a digital experience. And while we won’t be seeing you in person, we’re planning an immersive event that stays true to the MAX spirit of mind-blowing creativity and inspiration.” This year’s conference will take place from 20 to 22 October. Registration will open later this summer, but there’s still no exact date. There is also still no information on the agenda, but Adobe should announce it soon. You can stay in the loop by joining Adobe’s mailing list and following Adobe MAX on Twitter.
