In an email sent to DPReview, Adobe has confirmed the upcoming price increase for their subscription plans. The customers in the United States, Canada and Mexico will see the change starting from 16 April 2018. If you are a new subscriber, you can benefit from the current pricing and lock your subscription for a year, without experiencing the price increase.
The increase will not be the same for all plans. Here are the updated prices as stated in Adobe’s official announcement:
Creative Cloud for Individual Single App plans will increase to $20.99 per month from $19.99 per month or $1 per monthCreative Cloud for Individual All Apps plans will increase to $52.99 per month from $49.99 per month or $3 per monthCreative Cloud for Teams All App plans will increase to $79.99 per month from $69.99 per month or $10 per month
The good news is that pricing updates will not impact all plans, Student/Education plan, Creative Cloud Photography, XD and Acrobat CC plans will remain unchanged. So, photographers, if you are using Creative Cloud Photography plan, you have nothing to worry about.
