GoPro’s stock rose after it has announced a 3% year-on-year unit growth in the fiscal first quarter of 2018. The company has gained $202 million in revenue and CEO Nick Woodman is confident that the good news will continue through the second quarter. This is what Woodman had to say about the first quarter financial results: “Our first quarter was driven by strong sell-through of HERO5 Black and HERO6 Black, along with the launch of our new $199 entry-level HERO....

Last week, we shared the news that GoPro is planning on cutting back its workforce after shares dropped to an all-time low. Now, we’ve learned that GoPro has yet another monkey on its back in the form of a lawsuit from investors. The lawsuit, filed by Gainey McKenna & Egleston in California, claims GoPro management purposefully mislead investors about camera sales and didn’t take into account slowing growth into future projections....

This year has been tough on GoPro. Shortly after they had to recall their Karma drones, GoPro is shrinking. They recently announced that they are about to cut 15% of their overall workforce in order to cut operational costs. A striplight works best here so that there’s a clean edge drawn across the model. If you are doing a still image and want to add some burning skins effects, this video will show you a quick 10 minutes way to do so. You start with a “blank face”, we chose a model on a white background, but any face will do.
